نويت الصلاة على الميت (here mention the name of the deceased) ركعتين لله تعالى، وجهت بهما نية الصلاة على الميت رفقاً به وتقديم الدعاء له، تحرُّماً لله تعالى، إِمَاماً وراء إمام المسلمين.
Transliteration: "Nawaitus Salata ‘alaal mayyiti rak’ataini lillahi ta’ala, waj’htu bihimaa ilaas salati ‘alaal mayyiti raf’an bihi wa taqdeeman lihi, tahriman lillahi ta’ala, imaaman waraa’a imaam ilmuslimeen."

Translation: "I intend to offer the funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) for the deceased (mention the name of the deceased) for the sake of Allah Ta'ala, directing them towards the deceased as a means of showing kindness and making supplication for him/her, solely for the sake of Allah Ta'ala, following the imam of the Muslims."
